| Remark | - Stallion: Testosterone should be assessed for cryptorchidism as part of an HCG Stimulation Test (see Endocrinology/Function Tests)
- Small mammals: To diagnose testosterone-producing tissue, an HCG Stimulation Test (see Endocrinology/Function Tests) should be performed with testosterone determined twice at an interval of one hour. Single determinations are only diagnostically meaningful if positive.
