COLA Test

  • Quantitative determination of the amino acids cystine, ornithine, lysine and arginine.
  • For the diagnosis of cystinuria in different breeds.
  • Elevated in case of nephropathy, glomerulonephritis and renal amyloidosis, among others.
  • Additionally, a urine sediment and the determination of the pH value are recommended.

Fanconi Screening
  • Quantitative determination of the amino acids alanine, glutamine, threonine, proline, glycine, and of the glucose concentration in the urine.
  • For the diagnosis of Fanconi syndrome in dogs.
  • Additional urinalysis/sediment is recommended.
