- Quantitative determination of the amino acids cystine, ornithine, lysine and arginine.
- For the diagnosis of cystinuria in different breeds.
- Elevated in case of nephropathy, glomerulonephritis and renal amyloidosis, among others.
- Additionally, a urine sediment and the determination of the pH value are recommended.
Fanconi Screening- Quantitative determination of the amino acids alanine, glutamine, threonine, proline, glycine, and of the glucose concentration in the urine.
