  • Non-specific inflammatory parameter (acute phase protein).
  • An increase may indicate an inflammatory process, neoplasia or tissue damage. This parameter is particularly suitable for therapy monitoring.
  • For equids and cattle, SAA can also be requested in combination with the large screening.
