• Dog: for the diagnosis of hypothyroidism in combination with T4 or fT4
• Determination of TSH can be used for therapy monitoring if TSH was initially elevated at the time of diagnosis.
• Cat: For therapy monitoring: Rising TSH concentrations indicate the development of iatrogenic hypothyroidism.
