Reporting of results on the day the sample is received (Mon–Sat)

• Reticulocytes are juvenile erythrocytes. Determining their number is necessary to be able to differentiate between regenerative and non-regenerative anaemia.
• For reliable results, the sample should not be older than 48 hours.
• Additionally, in dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, the haemoglobin concentration of the reticulocytes (Ret-He) is determined.
