Activated Clotting Time

This test can be performed by veterinarians in their own practice. The appropriate tubes (ACT tubes) are subject to a fee and can be ordered from Laboklin. Please pay attention to the detailed instructions for use included in the delivery.

General information

Valid results can only be obtained if the shelf life of the citrate tube has not been exceeded and the fill level has been correctly observed after collection (also see Preanalytics “Which sample” and “Specific features“).
Important: The centrifuged citrate plasma must be put in an uncoated tube without anticoagulant.
