• formalin-fixed tissue samples (fixation in 4% neutral buffered formaldehyde ≙ 10% formalin; if there is a risk of freezing, please add a maximum of 10 vol% abs. of alcohol to prevent the sample from freezing
• for dermatologic issues use skin punches (≥ 0.6 cm)

  Examples of histopathology at a basic price (per diagnostic task): tumours (up to 2 sites), skin biopsies, uterine biopsies, organ biopsies up to 3 organs
  Examples of histopathology with higher costs: toe, whole organs (e.g. spleen, testicles), 3 – 5 mammary complexes, biopsies of 4 – 6 organs, tumour margins/tumour bed biopsies extensive
