Ophidiomyces (formerly Nannizziopsis) ophidiicola is a dermatophyte found in snakes. Infections with O. ophidiicola are associated with skin lesions, pustules, nodules and swelling of the skin. Lesions are primarily occur on the head, but can also spread to the whole body.
