  • The determination of Microalbumin is considered an early way to diagnose renal dysfunction in dogs and cats.
  • In contrast to the determination of the protein/creatinine-ratio (U-P/C), this test is also useful in patients with no clinical signs.
  • Relatively insensitive test which may also yield positive results in case of inflammatory diseases (e.g. borreliosis, leishmaniosis).
  • Sample must not contain any blood.
