Reptarenaviruses/IBD - PCR

The PCR detects different reptarenaviruses. These viruses of the family Arenaviridae are associated with the inclusion body disease (IBD) in boid snakes (boas, pythons). A negative test result does not completely rule out IBD, as there may be other virus variants, which have not yet been described, leading to this disease.

Material	EDTA blood, tissue (e.g. liver, pancreas, kidney, brain), swab without medium (oesophagus)
