  • For monitoring trilostane treatment on day 28 in case of hyperadrenocorticism.<\/li>
  • If the time of taking the pills has to be changed because of the blood sampling, it needs to be done at least one day in advance. <\/li>
  • An additional determination of cortisol 3 hours after the administration of the pill can further facilitate the analysis \u2013 pre- and post-pill determination: before and 3 hours after the administration of trilostane. (see Trilostane Therapy Control 2 x Cortisol). <\/li>
  • Separate cortisol reference values apply for monitoring trilostane therapy (pre-pill: 14 \u2013 50 ng\/ml, post-pill: 14 \u2013 23 ng\/ml).<\/li>
