Clinical Pathology is used to confirm the diagnosis of diseases based on the analysis of blood and urine samples as well as aspirates.

Clinical diagnostic includes clinical chemistry for the analysis of enzymes, substrates and minerals, endocrinology for hormone analysis, hematology and serology for the detection of antibodies or antigens.
