  • Includes the separation of the protein fractions albumin, \u03b1-, \u03b2-, \u03b3-globulins and the albumin-globulin ratio. The protein fractions are also represented in form of a graph.<\/li>
  • Acute inflammation leads to an increase in the \u03b1- and\/or \u03b2-globulin fraction. Polyclonal hypergammaglobulinaemia is caused by infectious, immune-mediated or neoplastic diseases. Especially in case of feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), the test is used to support the clinical suspicion.<\/li>
  • Albumin, \u03b1- and \u03b2-globulin fractions are lowered in case of severe liver diseases. <\/li>
