  • For monitoring trilostane theraphy on day 28 in case of hyperadrenocorticism.<\/li>
  • Determination of 2 x pre-pill: collection 1 hour before and directly before pill administration. This sampling scheme is especially recommended for animals in which previous therapy monitoring pre- and post-pill did not produce sufficiently clear results and if fluctuations before pill administration are suspected.<\/li>
  • If the time of taking the pills has to be changed because of the blood sampling, it needs to be done at least one day in advance. <\/li>
  • An additional determination of cortisol 3 hours after the administration of the pill can further facilitate the analysis \u2013 pre- and post-pill determination: before and 3 hours after the administration of trilostane.<\/li>
  • Separate cortisol reference values apply for monitoring trilostane (pre-pill: 14 \u2013 50 ng\/ml, post-pill: 14 \u2013 23 ng\/ml).<\/li>
