  • The most common causes of pathologically elevated serum levels are kidney diseases (not in horses) and hyperthyreosis in cats. <\/li>
  • Hypophosphataemia may be present in some endocrinopathies. <\/li>
  • Reptiles:<\/strong> The Ca\/P ratio should be approximately 2:1. <\/li>
