  • Gluten and its subfraction gliadin are found in wheat, spelt, rye and barley.<\/li>
  • Gluten intolerance leads to different clinical pictures depending on the breed: gluten-sensitive enteropathy in the Irish Setter and canine epileptoid cramping syndrome (CECS, Spike\u2019s disease, paroxysmal gluten-sensitive dyskinesia) in the Border Terrier. Mixed forms and gluten intolerance in other breeds have been described in the literature.<\/li>
