In der Veterin\u00e4rmedizin gibt es lediglich eine Studie, die CA19-9 bei kaninen Pankreatitiden untersucht hat, aber keine Werte messen konnte. Ziel der Studie war die \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung, ob und in welcher H\u00f6he der Tumormarker CA19-9 bei Hunden und Katzen mit verschiedenen Pankreaserkrankungen exprimiert wird.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\" align=\"justify\">Es wurden retrospektiv 45 kanine und 42 feline Gewebe- und Blutproben untersucht, die routinem\u00e4\u00dfig zu LABOKLIN eingesandt wurden (2014-2019). Die Hunde waren 1-15 (Median 8,9) und die Katzen 1-18 (Median 10,7) Jahre alt. Die h\u00e4ufigsten Rassen waren beim Hund Terrier (n=13) und bei der Katze Europ\u00e4isch Kurzhaar (n=34). Die Tiere wurden anhand der histologischen Diagnosen eingeteilt in: 1) physiologisches Pankreas (23 Hunde, 13 Katzen), 2) Pankreatitis (15 Hunde, 13 Katzen) und 3) Pankreastumor (7 Hunde, 16 Katzen). CA19-9 wurde mittels Chemiluminescence Immunassay bestimmt. Im Humanbereich sprechen Werte ab 37 U\/ml f\u00fcr das Vorliegen eines Pankreastumors, mit einer Grauzone bis 19 U\/ml.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\" align=\"justify\">Weder bei Hunden noch bei Katzen konnten signifikante Unterschiede der CA19-9 Konzentration zwischen den Gruppen1-3 gefunden werden. Beim Hund wurden Werte &lt; 0,3-16,5 U\/ml (Median 2,6 U\/ml) gemessen und bei der Katze &lt; 0,3-59 U\/ml (Median 6,6 U\/ml). Die meisten Werte sind also nach humanmedizinischer Beurteilung in dem Referenzbereich. Innerhalb der Tumorgruppe zeigten jedoch die Hunde mit azin\u00e4ren bzw. gemischten Pankreaskarzinomen (n=5) h\u00f6here Werte als die mit duktalem (n=1) bzw. muzin\u00f6sem (n=1) Pankreastumor (nicht signifikant). Bei der Katze war hier kein Unterschied erkennbar. Alle Katzen mit Sarkomen (n=2) hatten erh\u00f6hte CA19-9 Werte.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\" align=\"justify\"><a name=\"__DdeLink__27_376669374\"><\/a>Es konnten sowohl in Proben von Hunden, als auch von Katzen Konzentrationen von CA19-9 nachgewiesen werden, jedoch sollten tierarteigene Referenzwerte in weiteren Studien ermittelt werden. Tiere mit Pankreastumoren zeigten Unterschiede der CA19-9 Konzentrationen.
