  • Stallion:<\/strong> Testosterone should be assessed for cryptorchidism as part of an HCG Stimulation Test (see Endocrinology\/Function Tests)<\/li>
  • Small mammals:<\/strong> To diagnose testosterone-producing tissue, an HCG Stimulation Test (see Endocrinology\/Function Tests) should be performed with testosterone determined twice at an interval of one hour. Single determinations are only diagnostically meaningful if positive.<\/li>
