  • Measurement mainly covers the activity of pancreatic lipase, but also the lipase activity in other tissues (stomach, small intestine). A threefold increase in value indicates acute pancreatitis.<\/li>
  • In order to confirm the diagnosis of pancreatitis, pancreatic lipase immunoreactivity (PLI) should be determined.<\/li>
